I thought I'd start a thread about my newest tank, a 12 gallon Aquapod. I set it up with cured live rock yesterday and have been moving zoanthids into it today. It will have nothing but zoanthids and possibly a fish and a couple decorative inverts.

At this point I'm just using the stock lighting but I'm considering going to LEDs in the near future. I have installed a diy ATO and an Eheim heater in the back chambers as well as some filter floss.

The zoanthids that will be going in today will include the following:
Blonde Blue Eyed B****es
Infernos
Red Hornets
Blue Hornets
Purple Hornets
Frostbites
Tyree Space Monsters
Candy Apple Reds
Goblins on Fire
Sunny D's
Tyree Captain Americas
Spidermans
Fire and Ice
Kryptonites
Rastas
My Clementines
Fruitloops
A few other unnamed/unknown polyps

Sorry the pics aren't very good quality, they're just cell phone pics. Some of the zoas are a little faded from the conditions in the previous tank but most are looking great in the new tank.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Today I picked up a very nice frag of utter chaos.

I also replaced the return pump with a maxijet 1200. Soon I'll be adding Ecoxotic Panorama Pro LED modules to replace the stock lighting.

What kind of sand do you have? It looks really coarse.

Would you happen to know the particle size?

I just ordered 200 lbs of caribsea super reef which claims to be .5-2.5 mm

It says 2.0-5.5mm on the bag.
