Just a few pics. The doors are not done but I'm testing canvas for the panel of the doors. It would allow air through while blocking much of the light and some of the sound.

I never would have thought of canvas, Are you just going to build a wood frame the stretch and staple the canvas to the back?

The canvas looks like it works pretty good. I just bought black material to skirt my whole stand with. It will be a new look, we'll see how it turns out.

That is what I was thinking. But I'm trying to imagine a way to hide the staples to get a clean look even on the inside of the doors. There is an upholstery shop close by, maybe they can provide a trick.

While I was trying to net a fish I put a fright into all the fish. I was trying to catch this little clown for a couple days and I think I scared the stuff out of all the fish. A few fish showed ich, and hid more often; Just a week later it is gone. The fish are out more and relaxing now,, and I'm feeding well to show them how great I am, lol. They love me again. :) Anyone want more pics?

More pics? Heck yeah!
You might try decorative upholstery tacks instead of staples. If you fold the edge and use tacks, it will give you a clean look. Yeah. they might rust but .... you'll have a built in, antique look!

The reef fest was great. I spent sixty bucks to fill my head with a little info and I also got these cool items-
I didn't win anything in the raffle, so hind sight I should have just bought a membership. But oh well, I work during the meetings and seminars anyway. I'm glad I was able to support the club anyway.
One thing that I'm going to take away from it is that I will remove all macro from my fuge except chaeto. It's the way I used to do it so I know it works well. I also really want to grow rotifers but I think I'll have to wait on that.
A few new pics.
My clowns keep producing eggs-
Here is one of the pieces of utah rock I added that is coloring up nicely-
Sunshine hitting the tank-

Sometimes at night I see tiny little jelly fish swimming around in the moon lights. At least that is what they look like. They are tough to get a photo of but I tried. They are about a .5-1.0mm maybe.
And a full tank shot with all the lights on.

I missed the talk about refugeums, so can you clearify for me why you only want to run chaeto in your fuge, instead of the other macro algaes you have?
