I'm really liking the look of the ATI Sunpower lights right now. I think a 48 inch dimmable would fit my 90 perfectly. My only question is will a light that stretches across the whole tank have an issue with the middle brace that is on the tank? Will the middle of the tank have an issue right where that middle brace is or would I be ok? Also does anyone know of a cheap place to get one? Or is someone selling one?

You'll probably notice a shadow under the middle brace to a few inches down, but it shouldn't be anything terribly obvious or obnoxious. I doubt the brace would get hot enough to melt either, so you should be ok. But, if you're a perfectionist, the shadow may bother you.

You won't have a shadow really because T5s are a diffused light and not point source like Halides or LEDs.
Watch Marine Depot this week as they suggested there would be a "huge" sale on Sunpowers this week. Other than that they are always within the same range for price. They are the best T5 on the market.

Cut out the brace. I agree with Nikki and Ryan. The shadow is only noticeable on rock within 6" directly under the brace. If the aquascaping dips low in the middle, it's not an issue. Aloha, Mark
