So I bought a used 20gal tank. . . it was used for reptile and I guess the person used a heater on the bottom panel of the tank and it cracked it.

So I bought it for super cheap ~ but I want to repair the tank before fishies go in it.

I'm pretty set on just repairing the glass and not buying a new tank.  Does anyone have experience doing this??

I don't know how hard it is to fix the glass but we just replaced our 20 gallon sump with a 29g so I have an extra 20 long if you decide it's too much to work to fix it.

I am interested. (pm sent)

But I also want to fix this one. . .

I have new fishies coming at the beginning of May so I have to get the tanks ready.  Approve

just get a new small patch piece and sylicone it with 100% sylicone on top of the crack. If it doesn't go to the edge it's that easy. if it is cracked to the edge, then you need to seal the entire tank again. but still easy...
I will just give my warning that your system will flood, bulbs will burn out, and things will take continuous maintenance... get over it.
