just get a new small patch piece and sylicone it with 100% sylicone on top of the crack. So I bought a used 20gal tank. . . it was used for reptile and I guessthe person used a heater on the bottom panel of the tank and it crackedit.

So I bought it for super cheap ~ but I want to repair the tank before fishies go in it.

I'm pretty set on just repairing the glass and not buying a new tank.  Does anyone have experience doing this??
