I have a 90 gallon tank and was wondering if the included lighting which is mounted in the canopy (2 175w Metal Halide with 2 actinic fluorescent bulbs would be sufficient for growing corals in this tank?

Thanks

So you are saying that my light setup should be sufficient for corals is that correct?

Excellent thanks!
How do you tell if the bulbs have worn out their useful life? I bought the setup used and the seller said that they were about 6 months old.

No matter what they said (unless they have receipts) I would change them. Halides are good for about 10-12 months depending on the quality.
Florescent could mean different things. PC bulbs are good for a year. VHO (t-12) are good for 12-14 months. T-5 can be good for 18m depending on quality.
Personally I always changed them at 11 months regardless of what they were. (I now run led's with vho supplement)
