That's awesome Shawn.
Andy Rhyne was a WMAS guest speaker a few years back. He is a scientist and hobby expert.

When he was here, Andy showed us pics of Peppermint Shrimp Larvae that looked like monsters from a sci-fi movie and explained how voracious they are, consuming any living thing they can get their claws on. It reminded me of Preying Mantis. I believe this is a pic of a Peppermint Shrimp Larvae I found growing in my tank. It was just a little over 1/2 inch long.

The day after the meeting, Jake Pehrson and I took Andy fishing at Trial Lake. The opportunities to learn are multiplied when we spend time with our guest experts like Andy Rhyne and local experts like Shawn Sabey and Jake Pehrson.
