Sun coral

Just bought a sun coral from bird world and was wondering if anyone had any pointers for me.  I just fed it after acclimation and it ate up and seems to be doing great.  I have just heard about people having a hard time and was looking for any tricks you may have.

I just realized I probably put this in the wrong place.  But I have been feeding in the morning every day and have been worried because they were not eating but today it extended out about the time I have been feeding it and it was ready to eat.  I am going to do this schedule every day for two weeks before I cut it back to every other dayish.  I want to make sure it is trained so I do not have problems feedind it.

I've been having some problems with mine and will say from experience, don't let these guys go too long without food. I traded a Trach for beautiful sun coral colony and I didn't get a chance to feed it as often as I wanted too and I lost 2 polyps completely and 6 or so are on deaths door. I took it out of my parents tank and it's now in my nano where I can find the time too nurse it back to health. These are defiantly finicky corals and not for beginners or people without allot of time on there hands (I fall into both those categories).

i really wouldnt say they are hard to care for you just need to make sure to feed them dont let them go more than about 2 days without feeding if you do that you are usually ok in my experience.
