Reefs Unlimited's (Ryan) 120G Reef
I was in the reef aquarium hobby for roughly 7 years 99' to 06' and then got completely out of the hobby to focus on building my business.  In November 12', I decided to dive back in.  The last 3 months have been a crazy ride but I'm having a blast!  I guess the idea is to collect the most rare/beautiful frags in the world and eventually have them grow out into show peices which I will put in a 400+ gallon reef tank in my home.  Ultimately I would like to have hundreds of frags covering every sqin of my 120.  Sort of like Jason Fox's frag tank on his site.  So far I have roughly 100 to 150.

Tank: Aqueon 120 w/Dual Overflow
Stand: Stand and Canopy built by Richins Carpentry
Lights: AI Vega's
Sump Style System.  I use a Bubble Magus dosing pump and skimmer with an auto top-off.
Next purchase is a nice camera and a macro lens.

Lastest purchase is the Cornbred Rainbow Crush.  Love the chalice and got a great frag.

Ya admittedly, I'm a little OCD.  Thanks for the complement.

Your tank looks really nice.  Glad you got back in.  How are you liking your Vega's so far?  I am running the Sol Blue's and not sure If I want to up grade yet.

What size of tank is that for your sump?

Does it have baffles?

Thanks man.  I like the Vega's.  I really like the bulb life and low heat/power compared to MH's.  There has been a learning curve with them.  Not a lot of info out there on the the vegas.  Just trial and error, but at this point I'm happy with them.  I haven't tried any other LED's out there though.

Its just a 20 gallon glass tank.  No, no baffles.  I wanted the space in my sump to be open and easy to maintain.  I originally had a reef octopus skimmer and bubbles would go into the display tank.  Switched to the Bubble Magus and the problem was taken care of.

Very nice! I didn't know you had a 120 too! Dude I'm looking forward to seeing close ups of your collection when you get a camera. Oh and that rainbow crush is insane.

Bought them on amazon. They are preatty quiet. No louder than my return pump. With the 4 fans each they can move quite a bit of air. I have the fans hooked up to my pinpoint monitor. When water gets too hot they kick on. I run LEDs so heat hasn't been an issue but the fans provide some insurance.

Don't remember the brand. Just type in aquarium fan on amazon and they should pull up.

Wow rainbow crush has got to be the most insane rainbow out there right now. Love how both base colors swirl into each other and the eyes are bi-colored. I'm getting my frag this upcoming week. Keep the pics coming.
