Wondering if anyone here in utah had it. Its a green leather that is extinct in the wild.

it very well could be it. there are few leathers this green.
 
 
they are selling it online for 40.00 for a 2 inch fragmenet. I'm going to start aquaculturing mine ;)

The rumors of its extinction in the wild are very much exagerrated but I'll sell you a frag for $40Smile And it's actually Sinularia not Nepthea.

isnt the sinularia have larger branches like afinger leather and fuzzier? nepthia is more long thin branches and fuzzy but not as much...?

 

 

so which one is extinct the nepthea or sinularia?

coral is said to be extinct.
Frags will come in about 1",
but open up to 2 inches.

2" Open-$40
 
Sinularia *looks totally different*

Sinularia corals can be identified by the fact that the growth originates from a single heavy stalk unlike Nepthea and the polyps are less feathery than in colt corals.
