So I got my sweetlips as a baby he looked like this.
Now about a year later he is starting to lose his spots and they are turning into stripes.  Anyone know what age, size they totally change?

Beautiful fish. I think it will outgrow the tank before it gets its stripes.

He has been a bit on the difficult side First 9 months 2 times a day feeding mysis and other frozen and fresh foods but now he is taking pellets so life is so much easier.  Thanks for the love all, he is definitely one of my fav's.

Guess that last photo was about a month old, I didn't think that long even though, was looking at him today and thought to my self "he don't look like the photo I uploaded"  really does seem to be growing fast now though.

You can see a big improvement in his stripes between the two photos too!

Thanks for the inquiry usually I would say sorry that fish is dead, but in this case some good news!! He isn't.  He is becoming a dominant part of my tank but is still just awesome!  I took a few quick shots before I left for work.

Thanks for the quick response, he look great. How much has he grown since the first picture? You are doing a great job with him.

How about another update. I was going to buy one today but the circles were already starting to become lines. So I passed.

They are pretty hard to raise when real young from what I experienced, but I will take a couple pics and post tomorrow for ya.  Thanks!
