Trying this out to see if it will help out some palys that lost their color. Here are some quick crappy before pics. I am starting at the dose for 5ppm and working my way up. I will try to update this as I go along.
I've dosed it for two years now. I think it makes a huge difference to the health of zoas and fish. Whenever a fish or zoa starts to look sick I just dose more and it always seems to help tremendously.
What brand are you using?
Indefinite hiatus from sw aquariums.
Once I have my glorious return I'll set back up the following. 50 Gallon rimless cube. 180 Gallons mixed reef paradise
I would be extremely careful about which type of vitamin c you are using. Regular ascorbic acid has a ph of about 4 and can lead to problems. What exactly are you using?
asorbic acid like the one from that link I read up on just GNC brand. I will keep an eye on my pH and make sure all is going well. I dosed it like they had down and was worried about that. Do you use the exact one from the link?
Yes, I've always just used the IHerb buffered brand. I started off being super exact with the dosing, now I just dump some in every other day with my top off water.
