I'm going to buy a hydrometer but I don't know which one is better between corallife deep six, istan ocean, or Kent's
If someone has had any experience with any of these or can tell me which one is better

Thanks

Personal suggestion is to save a little bit more money and buy a refractometer.  They are a lot more accurate IMO.

You can live for many causes, but you can only die for one. Pick that one very carfully.

I will get a refractometer later but the thing is I'm using the one that floats from petco but I don't feel safe using it and the thing is that I'm only 14 and just have a gift card and would like to use it to buy a hydrometer for now

The floating hydrometers are actually pretty accurate; more so than the "swing arm' ones

Mine is a Coralife brand.  I don't recommend it because each time I use it I have to tap it a few times when I put it on a flat surface to get the needle to move to the right place.  It is almost new, I rinse it with fresh water each time I use it, but it has always been this way.  The first time I used it my salinity was sooo high I couldn't believe it.  Once I figured out that I need to fill it to the line with the tank water and then tap it a couple of times when I place it on a flat surface the needle does seem to move to the right place.  I am going to purchase a refractometer this weekend and you may have my hydrometer if there is some way you can get close to Bountiful -- I could meet you somewhere and give it to you.
