I have what looks like a cotton ball stuffed into the branches of one of my candy coral, and I am wondering what kind of creature its going to morph into.

Any ideas?

The cotton balls I am familiar with are eventually found dirty on the bathroom floor and I have to pick them up and toss them in the trash!

Fungus usually appears cottony, but this one stumps me. Is there any color to it?

Please keep us updated on developments.

I dont hav e digital camera, but it looks like a dirty piece of cotton.

It had to be pushed there by a crab or is growing with out me noticing it before?

I have been told it may be some kind of sponge.
