My display tank and sump are being taken over by pineapple sponge how do I get rid of it. Everybody tells me that they aren't bad but they are taking over my frags please help

they thrive in low flow areas. your options are:
1. increase flow
2. manual removal. (they'll just regrow)
3. find something that will eat them (maybe some kind of nudi)
they shouldn't take over your corals or anything, so like adam, id say let them go, but its your tank.

I think sponge is cooler than frags, but I guess you could up the water flow. And airate the flow.

Yeah, a pic might be a good idea. I've never known Pineapple (Scypha Sponge pic below) Sponge to bother any coral. Maybe it's something else or maybe something else in the system is bothering the coral. Aloha, Mark 808-345-1049
