So I have a bunch of green/brown ordinary palys in my tank that I don't want there anymore. They are on the large base layer rocks in my tank that I can't move with out everything coming down. They have crowded out my zoos and stung/crowded out favias and other corals as well. I have tried a thick kalk solution on them and a straight sodium bicarbinate solution with no luck. The only thing that has worked is a MajanoWand. I bought it to get rid of majanos and it worked amazing well on the majanos. It will eventually get rid of a paly but I have to zap it multiple times and there are so many it could be a monumentous challenge. Any ideas?

How many are you taking about? I removed a large rock with many on it but it spread over to another rock , so to kill the 5 or 10 remaining i just injected them with lemon juice :)

probably a couple hundred on about 6-7 different large rocks with corals or anemones on them.

Those are actually pretty, mine are more straggly almost a brown color that look like weeds.
You can see in the pic near where the favia is receeded I have zapped them there and finally killed them off but it took 5-6 attempts.

Nice I love the aquascaping. Do you scrape your back wall, I don't see any coralline algae there. Very nice tank.

I killed the coraline that was great when i removed all rock to catch a pesky Damsel, so its white now and this tank is only 6 months old so new growth kills me as others have tons and are newer but i have no algae .....
