I purchased a nano tank with a leak that I thought was made out of acrylic. When I started working on it I realized it's actually made out of glass.  What type of silicone do I need to  seal a glass tank?  And can I get it from Home Depot?

Thanks!

Lowes actually sells aquarium silicone. Also Birdworld sells it by the tube.

Once you have the silicone, use a razor blade to cut out the old silicone.  Wipe everything done with acetone.  Once it's dry, just re-silicone everything, and you should be good to go.  I did this to my 125, over two years ago now, and haven't had a leak problem since.
