overflow
drilled trash can 1-3/4" for a 1" bulk head and have hang over the top return

$5 light housing lowes and $5 light bulb very bright 23w very bright

5" sand bed and chaeto and here is the overflow

here is it plumbed into my sump. return pump for the refuge is a  maxijet 1200
i could barely fit the 20g sump into my stand because of the center brace, and wave front tanks are a pain to put stuff in. i couldn't find a tank i like to fit next to it so that and the wife not letting me spend money i decide to make this cheap and easy plus i like it at night it dont light up the wall behind the tank and the light dosen't cause coraline algae to grow on your equipment. let me know what you guys think

that is awsome really like the creativity. It can really be a pain in the butt putting a tank that does not fit on the furniture. Had to remove the brace and place it inside there isnt alot of room but works
