Thanks for the welcome. :) its good to be here. I was searching high and low for good information on saltwater and was pleasantly surprised to find a site with all the information I was looking for, and on top of that its a local group. awesome :)
Hanging on the back I have 2 aquaclear 50s that i use for pod habitat and surface circulation, one is completely full of live rock and the other has both of the filter sponges in it. I also use a Skilter250 that i use for skiming / airation, and i can run carbon in it if i need to.

I am trying to maintain a closed system that I dont have to feed and that doesnt require water changes. I have a 4.5 inch sand bed of sugar fine araginite.

Also I am looking for a small live sand sample from some one who has a sugar fine sand bed, hopefully full of little critters, and if anyone has a filter sock full of pods that would be awsome. and im lookin for a small bit of grape caulerpa.
