Just had a quick question.....of the typical cree cool white and royal blue leds, which one has the greater par? With other lighting, it appears, the white bulbs have a little more par, so is this true also with leds? Reason I ask is because on my led strip I run the royal blues a little harder because I like the bluer look, but if the cool whites pack more PAR punch, then I may start pushing them to their potential a few hours a day as well. Thanks
Blue and white LED's put out the same amount of PAR.
Only in halides do the whiter bulbs create more PAR. The highest PAR T5 bulb is the ATI Blue Plus and they just released their new bulbs that have about 10% more PAR than before.
