I have advise- don't do it.
We were discussing this at IMAC last week. There is no reason to make plugs (time, effort, hassle) when you can buy great plugs for cheap. I'd probably go with Boston on this. Hey Jake- send Bruce the info for plugs.

I kindof have to agree with Adam on the plugs, It's easy to do with aragocrete, but there's no shortage of LR rubble out there. But for big structures, see the above noted recipe.

I think our good old Utah rock makes a good mounting surface for cuttings Bruce. I just break up a few pieces and your set. They also blend in nicely with your exsisting rockwork.
