Deteriorating blue star Help!!!?

I got a blue linkia starfish a few days ago. Person at shop said it would do fine in my 14 gallon biocube. His tip was slightly nibbled but I thought heck it'll grow back, well now his leg is almost gone and another one is starting to deteriorate. Any help of what I can do to possibly save him would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When they start melting away they are done for. Blue linka's are not a good choice for most anybody. By the time the stores get them they are already dying. They don’t handle the shipping and acclimation very well.
