I should have been more clear, By QT I mean quarantine tank. Wondering if I could put a fish or two in someone's QT tank

 Can you be more specific? What problems do these fish have? What kind of QT and why do you believe QT will work? It's been 5 days and the fish are still in need of QT - not dead?

Update for anyone interested Smile
Texting and phone conversation indicates a persistent Ich problem on a clownfish that began weeks ago with a Powder Blue Tang (that soon died). Several other fish have subsequently died. This is what I would identify as a Hospital situation rather than Quarantine. The hobbyist is considering the immediate need versus the long term benefit and possible use of QT after running fallow.
