i like both but only problems i have
1 center support on my 46 will melt if i have a 36inch mh setup
2 cant find an led setup i like that will allow me to start groing more sps.
 
any help on the 2 problems would be awesome
i cant decide what to buy

Crazy talk. You could easily put up two halides, or easily find a couple led fixtures. I have tanks with both options, come on over and have a look.

which would you prefer to have?

I love leds i grow a variety of corals under them. I briefly had metal halide lights and ditched them pretty fast for dimmable led's and never looked back

I have an open aquarium. Id like leds but what's a good place to get them that are able to grow sps aand a reasonable price
