| +1+1 | Yup! I love controllers and imo its one of the best investments you can make for an aquarium. The peace of mind that it can give you when you have it controller heaters and fans and also how convenient they are. no having to bend down to unplug pumps and what not just do that at the click of the button. I'm setting up another tank right now and the next item to get on my list is another controller :)

Apex. The aquarium sells them locally if not online.

I love my controler. The apex makes it so that you can even go on vacation and still check on your tank with a cell phone. The controlers can even send you an email if there is water on the floor.

Yes that is one of the Apex units. I just switched from a ReefKeeper Elite to an Apex and I like it a LOT more.

Depends on what you are looking for. if you just want something basic to start out with then I'd suggest the reef keeper lite. you can buy them for like $115 on ebay or amazon and they get the job done.
If you are wanting to drop down a little more dinero and get something more advanced then yeah go with the Apex. I've personally never used an Apex but people love them.
