Oh and when the plant tube is placed toward the front of the tank, is does it's best job of highlighting colors.

Totally agree with mark and trevah on the plant bulb. I put one on my 55 because it was just "too blue" and I love the look. I know the reef in the wild is very blue below certain depth but divers carry bright lights to restore some of the color.
