I would probably go with.
ray-see-MO-suh
but no one agrees on these type of things (even the "experts").
Just for fun check out this site.

Where can I get the chaeto (sp) kind? I am sure I dont have enough in there now to hurt anything but eventually I will. Not to start anything but, how do you pronounce this type?

Wait! I used to teach preschool, and if I remember vowel
pronunciation correctly: The E (racE) jumps over the C (raCe) and
makes the A (rAce) say it's NAME, not it's SOUND.
Watch how it works: Hop or Hope. See how the e jumps over the p
and makes the o say it's name?
Adam, when you have a preschooler, I'll teach him to read for you!
Chrissic, I used to add iron to our previous set up, 'cause I couldn't
get any calerpa to grow. I know it wasn't a nutrient deficiency,
because I wasn't skimming. With our new tank, I've got too many
other things to fix! I will start adding it once the water is older. Right
now I'm flooding my basement regularly and doing very frequent
water changes!

E jumps over fence "P" and tackles O
E pressing 'Os face into the pavement - "Say yo' name O, say yo' name"
O crying - "O, my name is O!"
E slowly getting up, dusting off- "'At's right, You name's O, don't you neva fugget it"

But you're results thereafter cause you to believe it works right? enough that you plan to use it again. At least worth a try for any of you who've experienced the toxic aftereffects of a caulerpin filled tank.

I will use it again, but I think this new set-up will always have
enough nutrients to grow a healthy crop o' calerpa. I've never
witnessed first hand the devastating effects of a calerpa crash, and
I'm hoping I never do! I don't think I'll ever have a large crop,
though. We've got 6 large tangs!
Think Adam will let me teach his kids to read? Do you think Adam's
kids will read Latin first?

I think adam should let me teach his kids to read, I'll act out plays like the above for them (not on them of course), and I GUARANTEE they'll never forget the rules of grammar

Yes Suzy I know how to teach my future kids to read. And yes, Latin will be their first language.
And you are correct on the pronounciation. Except, this isn't English. There is no "e" jumping over something in Latin. In my years of Latin I never saw anything like that English equivalent.
Geofish- well this is going to be tough, but I'll do my best. First of all, "ch" never appeared in Classic Latin. It only came into play during the recent resurgence. I pronounce the "ch" like a hard k. As in kite. However, in the world of birds, some people pronounce the ch like a sh as in the word shoulder. I say those people are American, and using more American Slur. For true prounciation (even though ch isn't true) I would use the k. So I would say k-eye-Toe-More-fuh That k-eye is said together not apart, but I thought it wrote better this way.
I checked with my wife on the latin from before, and she said that although she reads and writes much better than I do, she thought I was better at pronounciation, so she didn't have advice.

Well, over the weekend I noticed that the flow exiting my refugium was lower then normal. There was but a trickle. Further investigations found a snail stuck in the drain line to my refugium . I'm now thinking that is what caused my caulerpa to crash... very little influx of nutrient rich tank water.
... now, back to the latin speak
