I think we should have an AquaScaping Section for everyone to show off and learn how to Aquascape. I think it would give everyone a good idea on how to do it allow those who are good at it to show it off.

Why not start an aquascaping thread? If it is popular enough I'm sure it could be "stickied."

Because there would be no place to put it unless it is in Off Topics or something. There are topics for Fish, Inverts, LPS, SPS, etc... but no Rock Section. It would be difficult for a newbie to find it.

Probably just in the general discussion area. Wouldn't be off topic.

You make a good point! IMO a "how-to" section where people could go to find step by step instructions would be more appropriate. Otherwise we might as well start new sections for everything like plumbing, lighting, chemistry, dosing, flow, fish compatibility, etc, etc.
It would be cool to have a "how-to" section with sticky sub-threads about some of the major reef tank topics. You have an AWESOME idea, ClownFishAddict. Just trying to suggest a broader solution that is not limited to aquascaping alone. ;)

That would work great too! And if a newbie use the the search tool they'd be able to easily find the thread. I've done that plenty of times.

A "How to" section would be Awesome..... I fully support that. I think a section like that would be easier to find for a newbie. it would also provide for a better learning experience here on the board for everyone. I have learned that no matter how much you know you never stop learning lol...

I don't know that Aquascaping would require an entire sub-forum. It really would just be a topic.
 A how-to/DIY sub-forum would be a cool idea though!

With how much time I've spent on the forum you'd think I would know about the DIY section.

A whole section? seems a good thread with everyone posting FTS/aquascape pics would do it. General or Tank sections...it's definitely a general thing since every tank has some kind of aquascape. There is just such a thread on RC that has reached epic proportions. IMO - If they didn't make a section for it than I doubt we will ever need a whole section for it.
