After a bit of searching on the web looking for something else I stumbled across a method of building your own cable for the Jebao DC pump. The writeup was specifically for the Apex, but if your controller has a 10 Volt DC output (or even better a 5 volt which the Jebao uses on it's controller) you can control the power heads and other DC pumps with your controller.

I'll look it over a bit to ensure it's workable and post the procedure here with credit to the original author.

This sounds like some fun. I'm thinking crazy waves across my 120 gallon.
