I am gettin gready to setup my refugium. I am using rubermaid containers. My question is were do you get the bulkheads. What is the best place to go?

The best price I've seen is from Aquatica in Orem.  They don't have them out in the open, just ask Shawn for them.  I think I paid like $7 each.  I'd call to make sure he has the size you want.  Anyone know someplace cheaper?

Bruce, I have a couple of 1" bulkheads that I'll sell you for $7.50 each.  They are brand new.

Have you considered using a powerhead so that there are no holes and no chance of leaks?

From a Rio 1100 on up to the biggest pumps, they all work. There are other brands with equal or better head pressure. The amount of water flowing through a refugia should not be massive so that's why powerheads work. And they are quiet too.

 Mark are you saying to use the powerhead to run the water between the 2 containers? I would think that it would be near impossible to syncronize the rate of flow from the tank to the same speed as the power head.
