i put carbon in my sump in a nylon sock last night when i woke up this morning the sock had broken open. my tank has black soot all over everything!(luckily i havent put any of my livestock in it yet) should i drain everything and wash all the rock and sand?keep changing the filter sock and hope it clears up? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

just try and siphon it back out use a filter bag and just send the water throught it and back in the sump
out with the large and in with the nano
