So I have this fully cycled 29 gallon tank that's pretty much empty, it has a CC Star, decorator crab and a few hermits.  I've been debating what to do with it other than the usual FOWLR.  Sooo... is it possible to have a thriving invert only tank or do they NEED fish to survive?  I was thinking maybe a sea hair and urchin or a scallop.  Then again, that may be a VERY boring tank with no colors.. hrmmm... ideas?

Don't forget to add shrimp you can get some awsome colors of shrimp. I like your idea.

Try Bruce Ewald for a fireshrimp I think he still has one for a reasonable price.

Oh dang, why did I forget shrimp?  Great idea! 

I'm almost wishing I could find some fake yet pretty coral or anemone to brighten up the tank but I don't want something WAY fake looking.  Right now the tank's pretty brown and drab. 

Except for my decorator crab lol  Before I got my red slime all siphoned out he decorated with it so there's red slime glued to his back, I actually sat and watched him do it  LOL

Thriving invert only tanks are AWESOME!
