Just wondering if anyone on the board is using both reactors and the benfits of it.  I have a PH swing from 8.5 down to 8.4 which isnt bad but I havent started dosing the CO2 into my tank yet.  Wasnt sure what to expect.

I run a double chamber Ca reactor.  My pH is usually around 7.8 -8.0; which is low but not bad.  Supposedly, coral growth won't suffer if Ca and Alk are kept in the high side.

I bought an Aquamedic Kalkwasser reactor quite a few months ago and still hasn't set it up yet.  I will though, one of these days.

Is there any articles I can read about using a Kalk reactor as top off and a calcium reactor??  Im trying to learn more about these things.  will the top off not raise the calcium and Alk that the Calcium reactor is trying to maintain??
