I'm not home, but will try to get a picture tomorrow.  I have a couple hitchhickers on some macro I picked up from an LFS that remind me of Hydroids.  They are attached to the glass in the center and have several long thin legs out from the center and have a soft skeleton.  They are probably 1/4 inch in diameter.  By description do you think they could be hydroids?

Sounds like Hydroid Jellies to me. There is a poor picture of one in my gallery under Red Sea Max.

For some reason I remember Mark posting a coule years ago that these guys were bad?
