I have read that deep sea yellow gorgonians have a short live span. I was wondering if anyone has kept these or had any experiance with them?

They are not photosynthetic and must be fed.  Most people don't feed them enough since it tends to pollute the tank.  This is why they have such a short life span.

The purple photosynthetic Gorgonian does fantastically though.  If you want a frag I can get you a piece of mine for $5-10.  Mine Grows well under MH lighting.  It's actually one of my favorite corals.

I appreciate the frag offer. Maybe when my tank is up and running. I think Gorgonians are beautiful.
