I just finished setting up a Fluval Edge for my wifes office.  It is planted with several macros (always looking for others!!) It is painted yellow to match the office.   Future plans: Led lights, nano powerhead, corals and  http://saltwater-conversion.com/.

Like the yellow. When you are ready for the led lights give bill a call @ saltwater paradise 801 814 8588. He built mine and did a great job. You can check out my build for some ideas. The link for the overflow you posted is for the II ( taller 12 gallon edge ). Mine has been doing fantastic with the stock filter and weekly water changes. Anyways good luck with your edge and excited to see some progress!
