I bought a cleaner crew of about 100 red leg hermit crabs and they were all dead within about 3 months, is this normal or should they last longer than that?
I swear dear, I didnt buy any more corals, they just multiplied!

I would say no.  The same crabs have cruised my tank for years.  occasionally one gets knocked off, but not very often.

I have had a crew of about 100 the hole life of my tank and still have at least half.

I have had a few die.  but some how some way, in my tank they reproduce.

buy 30, 2 die, and in two weeks there is 40. 

 

55 Gal Reef.
30 Gal Fuge.
