Topic: Hey, Bob... How's Your Tank? Posted: March 10 2014 at 1:16am |
I have had a ton of people asking me "How's your tank doing? You never post anything on your tank anymore" So, I shot this video for you all to judge for yourselves 'how is the tank doing?'... ![Wink Wink](smileys/smiley2.gif)

I was able to get halfway decent video and a more 'lifelike' color rendering (despite the fact that shooting video of a tank lit by LEDs often turns out horribly distorted and blue) by turning the blue spectrum off on my Kessils. So those of you running LEDs might want to try turning of your blue LEDs completely and see if that helps you when you video your tank...

True, Jon, very true... but I have been pretty good about updating previous Build Threads.
But the others were all written before I was in the Presidency - so I'll just blame it on you guys giving me too much work to do ![Wink Wink](http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif)
Anybody else have any comments?
Questions?
Like Jon said, you may not get another fresh update for awhile... ![LOL LOL](http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif)

I think it's cool that you did a video, makes me realize I need to as well.
Sometimes the tank doesn't look as perfect as it did initially so that can cause a delay (thats my issue).
I tend to see this with a lot of build threads, not sure presidency :D
Keep posting - awesome stuff!

Roy -
I have two WP40 pumps on my tank - not WP60s
And I only run one of them at a time. They are attached to a timer; each one runs for two minutes and then switches to the other pump.
