Got all the plumbing done and In the process of switching it over I noticed I had a cracked bulk head so I switch both them out than I got super sick and was stuck in bed for a couple days and when I came down stairs to check on the tank I noticed my heater had broke and the water temp was down to 64 and had been that way for a couple days I lost all my frog spawn and my acros and my hammer
When I was switching over to the new sump I got really sick and was stuck in bed and apparently my heater stopped working and the temps got down to 67 and I'm assuming it was that way for a couple days till I was able to check on it

Did the heater actually break open to the water or did it just stop heating? The reason I ask is because tank water in the mid 60's would not typically cause all that coral to die. A discussion might be helpful.
