At the October WMAS meeting, I bought a book from Scott Michael that he was going to mail, but I haven't received it. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten theirs yet

If you are talking about "Reef Aquarium Fish(es)" then I believe it is just coming out next month and he hopes to have it to us by Christmas.
I have been waiting to stock my tank until I read this new book.

My bad, I'll check on these. Last time I spoke with Scott I told him to not mail them to all of you, but to just put them all in one box and to send it to me (save him the excess shipping costs). I'll call him today to make sure he sends them out before the Christmas meeting.

Shawn- no you won't. It may be sad but I know it is true. But don't worry, I have no reservations and I know it is best....
#1) Shane Heil will do a fabulous job
#2) In 6 months the club will have so many new people that I'll be forgotten anyway
#3) It'll give me a chance to focus my efforts and energy towards other worthy causes

I've hounded Scott a little this week. Here is an email he sent me....

I am supposed to talk to James (Microcosm man) and I will get some info from him on what the status of the book is (e.g., WHERE THE HECK IS IT!)! I assume it is on the boat, in transit from Asia. But, I will get the info from the boss.
Sorry about the delay. I should have emphasized that predicting publication date can be a very inexact science. I do my thing on time, but you never know about the people involved in the rest of the chain of events! That said, ONCE THE BALL gets rolling, Microcosm usually does a pretty good job at getting things out on time! For the delay, I will be happy to give those that are interested a special discount on Vol 4 when it comes out latter this year.

Hey there Amigo!
I finally received some definitive information from Mr. Lawrence. Here it is:
"The Reef Aquarium Fishes shipment is, according to TFH "on the high seas and expected to arrive in 10-14 days." It could be a real winner."
I should have them to you by the end of the month. Tell the gang that they will get RF 4 at my cost! When it gets nearer the time when that book comes out, I will send out an email to everyone that bought a copy of RAF and ask if they want Vol 4.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE! I don't think I will be pre-selling anymore books in the future. The prep to print stage is just too unpredictable.
