Does anybody have experience removing scratches from an acrylic tank? what is the best system?

This is the one I used. It was ALOT of work, but the tank looks brand new. Mine had tons of scratches and rubbed fuzzy bits.

Buy some 3000 - 4000 grit sandpaper put it on the magnet underwater and sand the scratches away.

When I used 3K-4K grit it made the acrylic completely opaque. You would need to then sand through about 10-12K grit. And I doubt the paper would stay under the magnet. I am looking for a power buffer of some sort to really finish my tank off. Even after 12K grit there is some slight haze.

once you sand acrylic you will have to polish it or it will look hazy

What do you use to polish? Lambswool or Cotton? What kind of buffing cream?
