Okay, Learned my lesson -- don't put the probe for the thermostat in the same chamber of the sump as your return pump. The suction cup came loose and the probe got sucked into the pump. I unplugged and cleaned it out, but not before two of the fins broke on my impeller. D'oh!
Eheim 1262 pump -- replacement impellers are like $80. Anyone out there know of an alternative? 3D printing impellers, or an off-brand replacement that will work? Do you think superglue would hold the broken fins back on?
