Wait and watch your two fish to make sure they are healthy for several weeks before considering another fish. Were you using Garlic Oil(GO) in the frozen meaty food, thawed and marinated without water? It's a bit unusual for a clownfish to hang on this long with Ich. The right Garlic Oil will make Ich disappear off the fish within only a few days. Another GO product should be tried. I know this sounds strange, that one GO might not work where a different one will, but this idea is common in the field of pharmaceuticals. It was about three weeks ago when you first mentioned Ich. This makes me suspect that the clownfish had a different problem - Brooklynella -Click and read... When I see Brooklynella, I pretty much say goodbye to the fish because that parasite is a tough one. Sorry about your fish. Mark

That link is to a search for Brooklynella on Google because I want to help you learn to look up these new terms. Any disease or parasite infestation can weaken a fish making it more susceptible to other illnesses and parasites. You did not answer my earlier question:

I too am new to the hobby and battles ich a few weeks ago. I was using Kents extreme garlic everyday for 2 weeks. One clown was lost and another did improve after I had pretty much thought she would die. The trick for me was that I took an actual clove of garlic and squeezed/crushed it and feed it in the thawed frozen food. 2 days later the fish was ich free. I also added a cleaner Shrimp just as I thought the fish was a goner. The shrimp and clown hung out close for 3 days.

Thanks for confirming and sharing with everyone what I have seen over and over that if the Ich is not gone in 2 days, switch to a different Garlic.
