My wife's nano the fans are louder than they should anyone know a cure
Nano's typically use 80mm fans. Finding a silent computer 80mm fan is typically an easy fix. They are cheap online, then it's just a matter of connecting red to red and black to black. Just find out which size fan you need and go from there.

125g 90g 2x33g 34g What stores do I recommend? Up North: Bill ( Saltwater Paradise 801-317-8115 ) Down South: Jerry ( Reef On 801-563-0600 )
Cyberguys.com is where I ordered 2 for my RSM130 (34g). Gelid Silent is the brand. Mine took 50 mm fans, but they do have 80 mm. I have tried other computer fans, but these are by far the best and oh so quiet. Cost is about 7.00-8.00 a piece.
Nice ill give it a look . It's only a 14 gal so I will pull one of the fans so I can see what I'm looking for but the cost seems a lot easyer than a home remedy to quit them up thanks for the tip
There is a local pc/computer shop in murray that would probably have the fan in stock. Best would be to take it in with you so they can be sure to match up the size and depth. Software & More in the place. They are west of the sportsmall by Copenhagen west.
they tend to wear out and become louder... like was suggested, just replace them.. if you go to newegg.com, most of them have decibel readings posted in the tech specs, look for the lowest one.
They go to hell because of the heat and stock biocube/nano fans are the worst. I just purchased some upgraded ones from Mediabaskets.com. They are sooooooo much quieter.
