Hi all. Just recently joined the other day and haven't made my "Hello to all" post yet. Will though in the next couple days. Want to explore all your professional opinions on this. Here goes:

Am in the design process of my overflows and am looking for input from any and all. I have a 180 gal (72" x 24" x 24") tank that I am setting up. It is currently drilled with two sets of 1 1/2" and 1" bulkheads through the bottom. Each set is spaced approx. 1/3 of the length of tank from each end (18" or so). Not a corner overflow set-up. In the research I've done I like the idea of the Bean Animal but with my current set-up I couldn't use that. The Herbie style on the other hand would work but I don't want to give up one of my return lines. So would it make sense to drill an additional 1" bulkhead among one of the sets, would then be 3 holes in one area and 2 in the other, use the existing 1 1/2" bulkheads as main overflows 1 in each section(dialed down), one of the 1" as a safety and the remaining two 1" as returns? I want to avoid drains from only one section of the tank and optimize surface skimming but not sure if all that matters or not.Thoughts? Ideas? TIA
