Hello all, at my place we have a pretty cool system to deliver salt or RO water in the house. Both upstairs and down. Its mostly PVC but the ends on both floors are vinyl. So in order to switch between fresh and salt I have to run downstairs. There is a valve on the pvc right before the vinyl tubing but my question is can I put a valve right on the end of the tube itself?

Thanks!
