I am making my parts list for my new tank, which will be barebottom.  I've been reading about drilling holes in the rock (I'm starting with dry rock) and inserting acrylic tubing to keep it off the bottom and to also hold rocks together.  I've found a website that sells all sorts of this tubing.  Has anyone used it, and if so, what size did you use?

Not sure about using it, but i would imagine using a heat gun to bend it and delvies plastics sells it. Also regional supply has what loos like a heating strip coated in silicone to bend/ mold acylic.

Thanks, I've seen some article about using those.  I'll see where I can find them.

Thank you so much!  Do you think 1/4 inch is strong enough if I want to have overhangs, ledges, etc.?  I am starting with marco key largo dry rock.
