Best value HOB skimmer

So as some may be aware from previous posts, we don't have a sump, but we've gotten by. However, we are thinking within the next 2-3 months we will probably want to pick up a protien skimmer, so I thought I should start finding out a little more about this.

We know we don't want an in tank skimmer, which leaves us with the option of a HOB one, but we would like opinions from the community on which would be the best value (read: Inexpensive but not shoddy quality) for our 55g tank. I initially thought the $160 price tag was a bit steep but looking at prices on skimmers in general that seems to be pretty standard. Does this seem like a good choice? Would others recommend differently?
