I was wondering if anyone new if the back of the oceanic biocube 29 gal is glass or plastic. I'm hoping glass. I want to start a refugium back there.

I hear glass but not sure... i would have to look at one... Ask my brother he has one he would know.

I believe it is glass covered in black paint.

It's glass and painted black with a small spot that's not painted in the middle for a light.
So if you have a oceanic biocube 29 you should already have a refugium in the back

Depends when it was made. Mine does not have that spot. They didn't start doing the little window till a year or two ago. BUT you can scrape the paint off and make your own window!
