Do I really need  6500K ? I have PC lighting and when the time comes for new bulbs, I'm considering 12000K. Right now I have a dual 6500/10000 and actinic 420/460. Opinions, anyone?

do you have macro in your display?  If not you shouldn't need the 6500K.

6500k is optimal for growing corals or cheato, but many people find the color a bit to yellow. Its not really necessary, it a matter of personal taste
